World’s Largest Cleaning Pig?

Pigtek Ltd recently designed and manufactured what we believe to be the largest cleaning pig ever made. The pig was designed for use in a 1.8m diameter sea-water pipeline that had become contaminated with a build up of marine growth leading to a drop in pipeline throughput.

Because of the very large diameter, a number of revolutionary methods of component manufacture had to be pioneered by the Pigtek team.

The pig has already been used by the customer, with excellent results and the pipeline flow has returned to “as new” levels.
