World's Largest Cleaning Pig?

Pigtek Ltd recently designed and manufactured what we believe to be the largest cleaning pig ever made. The pig was designed for use in a 1.8m diameter sea-water pipeline that had become contaminated with a build up of marine growth leading to a drop in pipeline throughput.

Because of the very large diameter, a number of revolutionary methods of component manufacture had to be pioneered by the Pigtek team.

The pig has already been used by the customer, with excellent results and the pipeline flow has returned to "as new" levels.

New Premises

Pigtek Ltd, are pleased to announce that they have completed the relocation to brand new premises. Still based in the Chesterfield area, the new larger premises are minutes away from junction 29 on the M1 motorway and will allow Pigtek to further increase our range of products and services available to our customers.

New Employees

Pigtek are pleased to welcome 2 new employees to our team.

David Wrath is our new technician and Kim Hyslop has started as our new office administrator.

Charity Motorcycle Ride

Pigtek MD Ralph Hyslop recently completed a twelve day 2,000 km long motorcycle ride through Southern India riding a Royal Enfield Bullet. His well renowned love of motorcycles and curries meant that this was a must do trip. As well as discovering the real India, the trip raised tens of thousands of pounds for a number of charities both here in the UK and in India.
